A: The web site migration service that our company is offering is free (to a certain extent). We will move your website(s) to our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that swapping hosting providers can lead to lost information and undesired downtime. That is why we will do all that for you for free!We have knowledgeable administrators whose main task is to ensure that your web site performs precisely as it did on your previous web hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in migrating custom–built web sites, as well as web sites that are based upon well–known apps like Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: We strive to carry out all web site migrations as fast as possible. Yet, we don’t have a set time frame for web site migrations. There are different factors that you have to consider – the sheer size of your site and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We constantly try to implement each migration in less than 48 hours. With less sizeable websites, our staff usually manages to finish within 24 hours.

A: We don’t require any sensitive details. We’ll require, however, the login information for your present web hosting account along with the name of the site that you wish to migrate.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share practically the same info you have provided to your present hosting provider. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal data is dealt with.

A: While we migrate your site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous hosting provider. After the transfer is complete, we will make certain that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your content is not affected prior to telling you that the migration is complete. Then we’ll explain to you how to transfer the domain name over to your web hosting account with us and how to update the DNS records.

A: While we transfer your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yeah. We support all standard Linux–based hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–powered hosting platforms, because we do not offer Windows hosting services ourselves.We also do not support proprietary site creation and management interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
